A big thank you to everyone who has supported us this year, hope
to see you again soon...
Brixham Battery Heritage Centre Group wish to express its solidarity with the people of Ukraine. Their courage
and resolve in the face of aggression from Russia has in many ways paralleled the struggle faced by Britain in 1939 when we stood alone against Nazism. Brixham Battery Heritage Centre Group is an educational charity that provides information and insight into
the trials and tribulations faced by both the armed forces and civilians during WW2. It is only by education of the true horrors of armed conflict that we can hopefully prevent future wars. It is for this reason that Brixham Battery will continue with its
plans to hold Special Event Days this year.
The Museum is open on Sunday,
Wednesday & Friday 2pm until 4pm, March until the end of October.
Special Event Day dates for 2023 are now live, see HERE for more details...
BRIXHAM BATTERY IS FUNDED ENTIRELY BY VISITOR DONATION so please
be generous...We are also pleased to announce we now have a genuine WW2 Anderson Shelter on site for visitors to see and also our refurbished Twin Bofors Gun from HMS Belfast...

We are a group of volunteers helping to restore the Brixham coastal defence Battery
built in 1940, and to provide on-site information to the general public and other organisations. The group uses the Artillery Training Section (ATS) hut as it's Education
Centre and Museum.
The dedicated group of volunteers maintains and have restored the grounds of Brixham Battery. This includes the A.T.S building,
War Shelter, Ammunition Tunnels, Generator Rooms, Gun Emplacements, Battery Observation Post (B.O.P), Pill Box and other structures around the site.
well as maintaining the Museum and grounds, we educate schools and the general public about the history and
operation of the site during World War 2. We are a Registered Charity, our number is 1082171.
